Just a few of the lives we have helped....

SHADOW

RASCAL

OLIVER

MR. PERCY IS LIVING A LONGER, HEALTHIER LIFE, THANKS TO AWARE!

MONI (WHITE)  WAS ADOPTED FROM THE SHELTER AND LULU (BLACK) WAS A STRAY.

THANKS TO AWARE, LILY SMITH WAS ABLE TO BE SPAYED WHEN SHE WAS OF AGE.  HERE SHE IS WITH LINDSEY.

THIS IS STORMI.  I'M SO GRATEFUL FOR THE AWARE PROGRAM BECAUSE IT LESSENED THE FINANCIAL BURDEN OF GETTING MY FUR BABIES SPAYED.

THIS IS HUCKLEBERRY, AKA LIL TUFFY.  THANK YOU TIDEWATER ANIMAL HOSPITAL AND AWARE FOR TAKING GREAT CARE OF OUR BABY!

      KOA

THIS IS SWEET LITTLE BETSI.  WE SUPPORT YOUR ORGANIZATION AND APPRECIATE YOUR HELP!

"AWARE has provided assistance for all 3 of my fur babies and I don't know what I would have done without them.  The AWARE voucher provides a discount that really helps as spaying and neutering can be very expensive.  Thankfully I have been able to rescue 3 sweet kitty cats because of the AWARE program.  This program has been an amazing asset to me and other members of my family.  I hate the thought of turning any animal away and AWARE allows me to take in strays knowing I can do the responsible thing and get my animals spayed or neutered to help reduce additional homeless animals."

          Casey, Perquimans County

Ezzy-She was a stray cat that followed my spouse into Food Lion one cold winter evening in early 2020 while she was working.  It was snowing some that evening and my spouse sent me a picture and we both decided we had to save her.
