PupSNIP SPAY/NEUTER vouchers are available for ALL residents of Chowan, Gates, and Perquimans Counties, regardless of income.
Upon receipt of your application and proof of residency, we will send you a $100 female or $75 male discount voucher to apply towards the cost of spay or neuter surgery and a list of participating veterinarians.
Free DogFIX SPAY/NEUTER vouchers are available for qualifying residents of Chowan, Gates and Perquimans Counties.
If you are a recipient of Medicaid and/or Food Stamp (SNAP, EBT) benefits, you are qualified to have your dog spayed or neutered at participating veterinarians FREE!
Upon receipt of your application, proof of residency and proof of financial assistance, a DogFIX voucher and appointment instructions will be sent to you.
AWARE participates in the NC Spay/Neuter Program that provides qualifying residents with FREE spay or neuter surgery, including pain medications. It does not cover vaccinations required for surgery.
