CatSNIP SPAY/NEUTER vouchers are available for ALL residents of Chowan, Gates, and Perquimans Counties, regardless of income.
Upon receipt of your application and proof of residency, we will send you an $80 female or $40 male CatSNIP discount voucher to apply towards the cost of spay or neuter surgery and a list of participating veterinarians.

If you are a recipient of Medicaid or Food Nutrition benefits (SNAP, EBT), you are qualified to have your cat spayed or neutered at participating veterinarians FREE!
Upon receipt of your application, proof of residency and proof of financial assistance, we will send you a free CatFIX voucher and appointment instructions.
AWARE participates in the NC Spay/Neuter Program that provides qualifying residents with FREE spay or neuter surgery, including pain medications. It does not cover vaccinations required for surgery.
