CatSNIP SPAY/NEUTER vouchers are available for ALL residents of Chowan, Gates, and Perquimans Counties, regardless of income.
Upon receipt of your application and proof of residency, we will send you a $100 female or $60 male discount voucher to apply towards the cost of spay or neuter surgery, and a list of participating veterinarians.
AWARE is proud to participate in the North Carolina Spay/Neuter Program, offering free CatFIX vouchers to help our community reduce pet overpopulation.
How to Qualify: If you are a resident of Chowan, Gates, or Perquimans County and receive Medicaid or Food Nutrition benefits (SNAP/EBT), you are eligible to have your cat spayed or neutered at a participating veterinarian for free.
What the Voucher Includes
How to Apply: Once we receive your completed application along with proof of residency and financial assistance, we will mail your Free CatFIX voucher and specific appointment instructions.
